Yeah, he should have, because he can have a good taste of things like that.

Yeah, we're trying to cut down on bread. Since we haven't been eating as much bread, it's more like during the weekends when we go like, okay, we need a bit of a treat.

But this is for me, when do you eat the bread? I guess for breakfast maybe, because I don't have breakfast, and then lunch is for me the only time.

The thing is, our names, we normally eat them with bread. Yeah, because it's like a soup, yeah.

Yeah, it's like soup. But I haven't cooked anything, so... I did make, actually, mashed potatoes with sausages, and I made the caramelized one for Marcin, because he really likes it.

So I said, mashed potatoes, it was English sausage, I bought them from Waitrose while shopping to Waitrose.

He told me! I was like, what? I think that's the last time.

Okay.

So we have a new sales manager in the office, and she's an older lady, 55 years old, and she talks so much.

And because she's new, she's giving me new ideas, and one of them was, oh, she said, wait, she said, oh, where do you shop?

And I said, like, at Sainsbury's, and she goes, I shop at Waitrose.

She said, you should try Waitrose, you're gonna love it.

Where's she from?

Well...

English, or...?

Yeah, yeah, she's English.

Waitrose?

She's from Waitrose.

She explained to me that... so she's only working on this one.

I don't think she said that.

She was explaining to me how, for the generation, parents pass away, it's the name of that money.

So she's very laid back, that's why she even has toilet paper delivered to her door.

There's a specific branch she orders, and so on.

And I'm like, oh, what's the name of the brand?

Don't Give a Crap, or something like that.

Never, never heard of it.

She was the one.

So she was keep trying, but because she speaks so much, the only thing I remember was Waitrose.

And I said, okay.

So what's so special about Waitrose?

And she said, oh, their own brand.

Much better than Sainsbury's.

And then she said, actually, most of the brands that are in Sainsbury's are at Waitrose as well.

And they're much cheaper, I don't think.

Cheaper, because I always buy them with a crook.

And it's only like 50p a pound, 75 pence cheaper.

And then I'm like, what's she on about?

So being a salesperson, she really sold the idea to me.

So one day after work, I said to Marcello, I'll just talk to Waitrose.

Just out of curiosity.

When I got there, exactly the same brands that are available in Sainsbury's.

Not international, I'm sorry.

The well-known ones.

Actually, Sainsbury's had got more than Waitrose.

So then I said, okay, let's give it a go.

Because she was trying to sell me the idea of the own brand.

Which apparently is owned by the king, or something like that.

So very good quality.

So I bought own brand sausages.

I bought ham.

There wasn't much cheese selection.

The breast, to be fair with you, there wasn't much left because I went at the end of the day.

I got a croissant.

I got a ginger biscuit for Jesse.

A bag and a half of shoppings.

A hundred pounds.

Marcello was like, you will never ever go there again.

I said, I don't know, Marcello.

I really don't know.

So I bought some ready meals.

Made by Waitrose.

Thinking that they're going to be much better than the brands that Sainsbury's have got.

Because they partner up with a gin teacher or something like that.

Which has got a very high protein.

Which marcello.

Didn't have anything like that.

The selection was very poor.

So I bought the own brand from Waitrose.

And a bag and a half of shopping.

I had the cucumber.

I had the pork pie.

As I said, I didn't buy any cheese because the cheese selection was very poor.

I bought a bread with seeds.

Which we had a bit and then we binned it.

Because we're big bread eaters.

But that one was awful.

But I didn't buy that much.

So we go home.

Oh, the pâtés as well.

There is a pâté made by Sainsbury's.

The Brussels one.

Which we really, really like.

So I bought the Waitrose version of the Brussels pâté.

So we laid everything on the table.

And then we tried a bit of everything.

And Marcello was like, I can't eat the pâté.

I have to eat the pâté.

Because it had no taste.

Not so well.

We didn't like the bread.

We didn't like the pork pie.

It was very fatty.

It hardly had any.

Even usually the pork pies, it has with me.

This one had a lot of fat.

Lard.

No, it's lard.

Yeah.

We weren't impressed at all.

So then we moved on to the ready meals the following day.

Marcello took a chicken and rice.

He said it tastes exactly the same as the ones we buy from Sainsbury's.

And I took another bread.

Oh, the chicken.

Oh, that is impressive.
