talking about what they're doing down here all the changes changing the road and making
2026-06-02 14:57:28 - 2026-06-02 14:57:31eventually this high street i start to see how it looks now there
2026-06-02 14:57:32 - 2026-06-02 14:57:36the road and i think it's less of a waste of time than i thought they want to call it the high
2026-06-02 14:57:37 - 2026-06-02 14:57:41street and not yet but one day i might maybe that's a gap here if they do those housing
2026-06-02 14:57:41 - 2026-06-02 14:57:47yeah even the workplaces is enough as well you know not a great place now but you know europe
2026-06-02 14:57:49 - 2026-06-02 14:57:55so it might be good ideas come something like ken hamoiland because there's a gap
2026-06-02 14:57:55 - 2026-06-02 14:58:00for stuff like that they'll be looking for people like that to do stuff like that down
2026-06-02 14:58:00 - 2026-06-02 14:58:04here and make it like that yeah a 10 pound block of bread and everything and we've got the flower
2026-06-02 14:58:04 - 2026-06-02 14:58:13here across the road so it's easy i think it's uh even those housing is starting i don't know
2026-06-02 14:58:13 - 2026-06-02 14:58:20about it since they it's on and off yeah yeah but i think they're working inside where they're
2026-06-02 14:58:20 - 2026-06-02 14:58:27making the
2026-06-02 14:58:27 - 2026-06-02 14:58:27um cinema and the restaurants behind where there's la chambre are they doing now i think so they're
2026-06-02 14:58:27 - 2026-06-02 14:58:33going in and out you can see them on the opposite the shop in and out you know yeah because that's
2026-06-02 14:58:33 - 2026-06-02 14:58:38a big job on the inside yeah but this one anyone who's doing right they in one two year they're
2026-06-02 14:58:38 - 2026-06-02 14:58:48having another branch and another branch that copy because the profit is very good margin is
2026-06-02 14:58:48 - 2026-06-02 14:58:54very good five pounds alone but it's just for that's crazy well and they are doing that
2026-06-02 14:58:54 - 2026-06-02 14:59:00so they do sourdough and so just so yeah in supermarket i got some sourdough bread we didn't
2026-06-02 14:59:01 - 2026-06-02 14:59:10even get it's like quarter of a loaf and it was two pounds today now supermarket is not cheap so
2026-06-02 14:59:10 - 2026-06-02 14:59:17people buying it it's uh ciabatta big ciabatta five pounds but when they finish obviously they
2026-06-02 14:59:17 - 2026-06-02 14:59:37don't keep anything for the after no
2026-06-02 14:59:37 - 2026-06-02 14:59:39yeah but then again it doesn't cost anything like that to make it so that they would
2026-06-02 14:59:41 - 2026-06-02 14:59:44their margin is massive bread and sometimes some of them they put bread in a different basket the
2026-06-02 14:59:44 - 2026-06-02 14:59:52day after they give it freedom but now give it if you pass like they give it to neighbors yeah
2026-06-02 14:59:52 - 2026-06-02 15:00:00so i used to get sometimes yeah the basket just pick you up but in the end of the day that costs
2026-06-02 15:00:00 - 2026-06-02 15:00:06next to nothing for me yeah so you're not losing it's flow no they're not good
2026-06-02 15:00:06 - 2026-06-02 15:00:10i mean it's not much left to be honest even if you put half in the bin you know some days even
2026-06-02 15:00:11 - 2026-06-02 15:00:16if you go to it's not much left to sell anyway it's the other day maybe that's part of the
2026-06-02 15:00:16 - 2026-06-02 15:00:23strategy but they do it on purpose as well so you think you've got to go and buy us everybody
2026-06-02 15:00:23 - 2026-06-02 15:00:28wants it you've got to get there early yeah they had to turn away like 20 people
2026-06-02 15:00:28 - 2026-06-02 15:00:32yeah they were closing and leaving there so he brought us a box of
2026-06-02 15:00:32 - 2026-06-02 15:00:40two nice pastry and a nice baguette but it's to be honest but the one pastry
2026-06-02 15:00:41 - 2026-06-02 15:00:50is too much for one person yeah so you can easy share it yeah
2026-06-02 15:00:50 - 2026-06-02 15:00:55and you're even in morrison's we went and you know just some um like strawberry tarts with
2026-06-02 15:00:57 - 2026-06-02 15:01:04custard inside yeah i really like them fresh strawberries
2026-06-02 15:01:04 - 2026-06-02 15:01:073 pound each? See now, they're selling very expensive. 3 pound? Oh, you can piss off, I'm not paying that.
2026-06-02 15:01:08 - 2026-06-02 15:01:15Who do they think they are, 3 pound for one little tiny tile?
2026-06-02 15:01:18 - 2026-06-02 15:01:22And there is one car factory now in Ekeser Road. It's like Iranian style, the Kurdish.
2026-06-02 15:01:22 - 2026-06-02 15:01:34It's Harawan, Harawan, something like this, and they open a branch in Market, Moore Market.
2026-06-02 15:01:36 - 2026-06-02 15:01:46They started in Barclay, they get some awards or something, it's cool.
2026-06-02 15:01:47 - 2026-06-02 15:01:51But since they come to Ekeser Road, because their rent is quite high, they put everything very expensive.
2026-06-02 15:01:52 - 2026-06-02 15:02:01So it didn't work for them as much as they expected.
2026-06-02 15:02:02 - 2026-06-02 15:02:04But they sell it paid for.
2026-06-02 15:02:05 - 2026-06-02 15:02:07Birthday, baby, proper cake as well.
2026-06-02 15:02:08 - 2026-06-02 15:02:10And it's like a cafeteria, so we can do what we want.
2026-06-02 15:02:11 - 2026-06-02 15:02:15It's nice inside as well.
2026-06-02 15:02:16 - 2026-06-02 15:02:17Have they still got that one at Dunham all the way?
2026-06-02 15:02:18 - 2026-06-02 15:02:20They've got all of them.
2026-06-02 15:02:20 - 2026-06-02 15:02:21Cake box.
2026-06-02 15:02:21 - 2026-06-02 15:02:21They were nice on there.
2026-06-02 15:02:22 - 2026-06-02 15:02:23Cake box, yeah, there is one.
