open another two branches so maybe they think it's too much for the money they get so possibly
2026-06-02 14:52:28 - 2026-06-02 14:52:35doesn't worth it for them and they have to start very early morning for bakery they're not doing
2026-06-02 14:52:35 - 2026-06-02 14:52:41bakery in there anymore you know they're not baked they do it centrally they do they have a big one
2026-06-02 14:52:41 - 2026-06-02 14:52:48is it crooks or israel i think using crooks and this is great yeah it's a big shop and they do
2026-06-02 14:52:48 - 2026-06-02 14:52:55all baking and they do delivery early morning just serving it's easy it's busy it was saturday
2026-06-02 14:52:55 - 2026-06-02 14:53:04i was there morning it's been very busy people queue up expensive and what they pay through is
2026-06-02 14:53:04 - 2026-06-02 14:53:15nice yeah that's five pounds for one piece yeah and for the last 10 years that's working
2026-06-02 14:53:15 - 2026-06-02 14:53:24isn't it they're not changed i mean they're still busy it wasn't just uh
2026-06-02 14:53:24 - 2026-06-02 14:53:27they're very
2026-06-02 14:53:28 - 2026-06-02 14:53:28even they've done that probably started because even chrome when he became empty was the time he
2026-06-02 14:53:28 - 2026-06-02 14:53:34was buying the house in there but it took them long to run because used to flow shop we didn't
2026-06-02 14:53:34 - 2026-06-02 14:53:42have like a three-phase electricity gas and everything took them a few months i think the
2026-06-02 14:53:42 - 2026-06-02 14:53:49first one who was doing that really expensive bread was uh seven hills yeah in charlotte
2026-06-02 14:53:49 - 2026-06-02 14:53:55is
2026-06-02 14:53:55 - 2026-06-02 14:53:55first one is the depot bakery which is in kelham island and then it was the one of the first
2026-06-02 14:53:55 - 2026-06-02 14:54:02artisan and seven hills and forge that's the oldest one like 200 meters down the road from
2026-06-02 14:54:02 - 2026-06-02 14:54:11seven hills but on the morning on weekend mornings people will kill you 300 meters yeah
2026-06-02 14:54:12 - 2026-06-02 14:54:17it's a bike it's a great change from tango i don't know actually i know this is different but yeah
2026-06-02 14:54:18 - 2026-06-02 14:54:24i went in there a couple of times what the hell is it they bought all chairs from like
2026-06-02 14:54:25 - 2026-06-02 14:54:29old school chairs that's a good business style of like we don't care how it looks yeah on purpose so
2026-06-02 14:54:29 - 2026-06-02 14:54:36it was like you know like that guy's sitting that junk outside on everything like old chairs and
2026-06-02 14:54:36 - 2026-06-02 14:54:42stuff all mismatched and things like that yeah that's the obvious things as well no no they were
2026-06-02 14:54:42 - 2026-06-02 14:54:49seven hills
2026-06-02 14:54:49 - 2026-06-02 14:54:51using those things
2026-06-02 14:54:53 - 2026-06-02 14:54:54It's basically Sheffield, that bench is very popular in Sheffield, it's all bakery
2026-06-02 14:54:56 - 2026-06-02 14:55:03Yeah, wooden bench, from an old church or something
2026-06-02 14:55:03 - 2026-06-02 14:55:07Yeah, old school or older things
2026-06-02 14:55:07 - 2026-06-02 14:55:09Yeah, yeah, they do that
2026-06-02 14:55:11 - 2026-06-02 14:55:14When we were selling Seven Hills, we were going to buying it
2026-06-02 14:55:15 - 2026-06-02 14:55:23It was before we, again, it was just a thing around things
2026-06-02 14:55:23 - 2026-06-02 14:55:28Still was lockdown, but lockdown was easing
2026-06-02 14:55:29 - 2026-06-02 14:55:32But she wanted a lot of money for it, but it was worth it, 150,000
2026-06-02 14:55:34 - 2026-06-02 14:55:40And she said
2026-06-02 14:55:40 - 2026-06-02 14:55:42I thought you might have said more than that
2026-06-02 14:55:42 - 2026-06-02 14:55:43No, by that time, because what was the situation by that time, obviously it wasn't good as it is now
2026-06-02 14:55:43 - 2026-06-02 14:55:50Before that it was
2026-06-02 14:55:50 - 2026-06-02 14:55:51Because they collected
2026-06-02 14:55:52 - 2026-06-02 14:55:52They were collecting all the sitting area, so we lost too many customers
2026-06-02 14:55:53 - 2026-06-02 14:55:56And then he said, she said she's not selling this, that, it's not including
2026-06-02 14:55:57 - 2026-06-02 14:56:03So we didn't get much of it
2026-06-02 14:56:03 - 2026-06-02 14:56:05And she wouldn't compromise it
2026-06-02 14:56:05 - 2026-06-02 14:56:08And then he compromised either start to, I think by that time was buying the house
2026-06-02 14:56:08 - 2026-06-02 14:56:14Spend on house or leave it and buy this
2026-06-02 14:56:15 - 2026-06-02 14:56:17But that's doing okay now
2026-06-02 14:56:17 - 2026-06-02 14:56:19That's very good now
2026-06-02 14:56:19 - 2026-06-02 14:56:20It was doing good
2026-06-02 14:56:20 - 2026-06-02 14:56:21When they could sit back because it's got a nice decking even on cold weather
2026-06-02 14:56:21 - 2026-06-02 14:56:26Yeah, it's good
2026-06-02 14:56:26 - 2026-06-02 14:56:27Sitting, yeah
2026-06-02 14:56:27 - 2026-06-02 14:56:27But with the bakery, it's hours, it was a bit expensive
2026-06-02 14:56:29 - 2026-06-02 14:56:33Opposite to a takeaway, isn't it? You have to get up early because you can go to bed in the morning
2026-06-02 14:56:33 - 2026-06-02 14:56:37Yeah, but you go to bed early and get up early
2026-06-02 14:56:37 - 2026-06-02 14:56:39And takeaway is the opposite
2026-06-02 14:56:39 - 2026-06-02 14:56:41It's very early, it's like still night, it's 2 or 3 in the morning
2026-06-02 14:56:42 - 2026-06-02 14:56:46You have people to do that bit for you
2026-06-02 14:56:46 - 2026-06-02 14:56:48I didn't get used to it, yeah
2026-06-02 14:56:48 - 2026-06-02 14:56:49It's like market and you have to sleep like between 3 to 9
2026-06-02 14:56:50 - 2026-06-02 14:56:52And they must do the preparation day before and just put the bread in it, put the dough in the oven
2026-06-02 14:56:52 - 2026-06-02 14:56:57They do lots of things there
2026-06-02 14:56:57 - 2026-06-02 14:56:58You get baker, you don't have to be yourself all the time there
2026-06-02 14:56:58 - 2026-06-02 14:57:02Once everything's set, why it's a solid business
2026-06-02 14:57:02 - 2026-06-02 14:57:06The good thing with there because it's like industrial, the rent was quite good, about 15,000 or something
2026-06-02 14:57:06 - 2026-06-02 14:57:12It was, I remember
2026-06-02 14:57:12 - 2026-06-02 14:57:13It was
2026-06-02 14:57:13 - 2026-06-02 14:57:14But it's not going much because it's not like a retail shop, it's industrial
2026-06-02 14:57:14 - 2026-06-02 14:57:18But still, whenever they do that cafe bakery, they do good
2026-06-02 14:57:19 - 2026-06-02 14:57:26Diarization Windows
