So how can I help?

I've received a letter about an escalating penalty.

And to be honest, I've been a bit confused by it all so far.

I've realized that some employees who started earlier were in our payroll system and causing a rejection of submissions to NEST as a pension provider.

meaning that I'd assumed everything was going by direct debit on time monthly and automatically.

And it's just, we just realized today that it's not and trying to resolve it as we speak.

I think we've managed to submit everything to Nest and click the submit buttons for payment, but they take payment by direct debit in a couple of days.

You know, if you'd have contacted us sooner, we may have been able to grant the extension before this started to accrue.

But unfortunately, it's already started to accrue.

The only way to get its stop, to my knowledge at this point, is to give us evidence to show that the payments have been paid up to date to the pension scheme between the 10th of January this year and the 24th of April.

I really do need to transfer you through to the appropriate team because I just don't have the right trading to help you deal with this.

So we've got a notice for overdue contribution schedule, overdue pension contribution, sorry.

And I just spoke to somebody who was in the debt collection department.

He put me through to you, I'm afraid I've not realised how this all works.

And we had a mishap with our, the link between our payroll and Nest was the provider.

So they've been rejecting the submissions because of two new employees.

It's something I've resolved today and I have

Submitted them to a nest, which means they'll take a payment by direct debit for the contribution in the next 2 to 3 days, something like that.

How does it work in terms of the escalating penalty number that's been applied?

I have started to escalate from the fourth.

So that has already started escalating.

It started escalating on the 4th of October that currently stands at 1000, 1000 for that and I think it's 400 for the other penalty.

To stop that from recruiting any further, you'll need to send the evidence to show that.

Does that mean that the payments that were owed, are they showing on your online portal as paid?

The showing is submitted for payment and then let's take it by direct debit.
