Yeah, that was the other thing. The ferry.

Oh yeah, it's about 12. Is it something like that? It's a good few hours.

It should be all the night, possibly, all the day.

That's it, Manchester to Dublin.

Flights are like £10 because Ryanair is from Ireland.

Many, many, many of the flights they do are back to Manchester.

And how's Dublin?

They return the planes to Ireland, so the selling ticket's very cheap.

Dublin is a really nice town. Better in England.

Oh, it's not as long as I thought, actually. Three and a half hours.

Yeah, but it's like 40 minutes of time.

Three and a half hours only.

Yeah, it's kind of like they're saying three and a half hours.

When you get on the plane, though, they're so short, they tell you before you sit down,

if you want a tea or coffee, you have to order them out, because when we take off, we bring them out.

Yeah, you just sat two on a... and it's like propeller planes, isn't it?

No, I was on a Ryanair. I'm saying Ryanair. Dublin's the main base.

Mm.

It was from Newcastle and Teesside.

Yeah.

There were flights to, like, Rome and whatever from Newcastle, but they'd come back,

and at 10 o'clock at night, they'd return their aircraft to Dublin so they could buy seats for 99p.

And any time I did it, we did it many times from Newcastle.

You can't do that now, 99p. Boy, it was 99p.

And there would only be, like, four people in the plane, because they were just returning them back then.

Oh, and we might still do Ireland. We were on one of them little propeller planes.

Two on it, two on one side.

Well, it used to go from Dublin. It used to go from Doncaster then, fly B.

Yeah.

Yeah, we went all over with that. We did a couple of Italian trips. We went to Mallorca once on one of them.

It's not active yet, no?

Not yet, no. 2028 at least.

What, Doncaster?

Doncaster. And we went to Berlin with my grandad and mum, and we broke down.

We got stuck in the sky for a while.

I did not, I did not enjoy...

Our plane had a problem. They were not that reliable, I think.

We had a problem on the way, and we were circling for a while, and then we landed.

And then when we were coming back, it was delayed by, like, eight hours or something.

So we got all the money back and all that.

For compensation, because it's more than something that was there, you get a massive refund.

And an extra day in Berlin with my grandad.

We're working on it.

I would like to do an Ireland ticket. I think Ireland's very nice.

Ireland is very nice.

It's expensive compared to here now. It used to be that you'd go there and everything was quite less expensive.

It's horrendously expensive.

And me, it was, like, 25 euros.

We went to Cork and we went to the Oyster Festival.

I didn't go there, but when I was in Italy, lots of friends were from Galway.

Oh, we went to Galway.

We never went.

Why don't we all move?

Galway. And my dad went there on a trip, didn't he?

He said it was really nice, but I was saying it was expensive.

Like, you went to a Turkish kebab shop and it was, like, something crazy, like, 30 euros for a kebab and chips.

No, when we went, it weren't that bad.

But, erm...

Yeah, Galway's really nice, actually.

It's a bit...

When we were walking down, it reminded us, like, being abroad, because, like, we've got this central street and it's all pubs and restaurants and stuff.

They're all about the pubs and restaurants and the nightlife and the live music and everything else, and it's nice.

And it's warm, isn't it, on the west coast of Ireland because they've got the Gulf Stream.

It's the opposite of going to the east coast of England.

Yeah.

But Cork's really nice.

It's a big city.

Okay.

Loads to do.

Let me use the pizza driver then.

Yeah, I'll be able to go back.

It's got to Switzerland, but it's just to stay.

To stay.

Very funny.

She goes.

Pizza ain't to do.

Not she goes.

We need to go.

We need to go.

I'll show you where I used to go.

I'd love to go back, you know, because it's been, like, 30 years or so.

Right.

Okay.

All right.

I'll tell him.

No, not quite.

Okay.

All right.

No worries.

All right.

Thank you.

Bye.

Hi.

It's Nancy calling back.

Oh, yeah.

Sorry.

I just spoke to the driver.

He's done it in a different way.

He's had to go to Hull.

There was no one at the shop.

Not until later.

He's in Hull.
