You track the van with the camera as it moves, the result can be van sharp, driver sharp, background streaking sideways.

That's how many professional motor school photographers are.

At first glance, people assume a photographer used a pair of watch chips.

In reality, they often used a surprisingly slow one.

The bigger lesson is, open quote, photography isn't about making everything technically perfect.

It's about making the photograph communicate what you experienced.

Close quote.

A perfectly sharp photo can be a slightly blurred photo.

I'd say you've already grasped module one.

You understand, aperture controls depth of field, shutter speed controls motion, ISO is the core.

Exposure is a balancing act.

That's genuinely the hardest conceptual.

The next module I teach you isn't actually camera settings, it's light.

Because a good photographer with an eye-catching beautiful light will usually be important.
