She just got changed, yeah.

Not that bad, but it's hard.

She's got some complexes.

She's half Brazilian, half Egyptian.

Yeah, and I thought it was...

He was born here.

Yeah.

She speaks a bit of Arabic, but she speaks fluent Portuguese from her mom's side.

She's got two brothers, but her parents are divorced, and he's married a Ukrainian woman

who's 20 years younger than him after that, and he's got his ex-wife, right?

He's a very rich guy as well.

He's a very rich guy.

Rich man, dude.

Yeah, he has a software business, and he used to work with Alan Sugar.

He was supplying the software for Alan Sugar's machines when he was doing the old phones.

Oh.

We used to have these phones.

It was before internet, but you could send a message, and they supplied computers to

schools and all that, so he did very well.

Now he's still involved in software business, and he lives on a boat, a yacht.

He's got a flat and a yacht in Havada in Egypt, and he teaches people scuba diving

for fun, and they've got a house in Germany, and he travels around with his new wife,

and they've got a little baby kid, but because of him...

She had a boyfriend.

She couldn't tell him.

They took them a long time.

Because she's Muslim.

But she's not.

But he has those mentalities.

And they couldn't tell her father she had a boyfriend, so after they knew each other

two years, and it was really serious, so she had to tell him, so they had to sit down,

and she explained, and he says, I want to meet him.

My brother went there.

I don't allow my daughter to have a boyfriend.

I don't, I like you.

You can marry her, but you have to become a Sunni.

Yeah, a Muslim.

And not only, he was more worried that he's half Iranian, maybe he's Shia, not the right

type of Muslim.

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

So my brother went to the mosque with the brothers.

So officially he's...

A few times, and they got married in a...

Yeah, he's...

In a mosque, yeah.

And they got married in the living room by the imam, and my brother had to study the

Quran and stuff.

We went to the mosque with the brothers.

A few times.

A few times to show that he's doing it.

To prove it.

And they never told any of his family he got married.

Yeah.

He didn't tell us that he got married to her.

In the, not legal marriage, but religious marriage.

Yeah, yeah, religious.

And because he thought we might judge him for it, or what she told him, don't tell me.

And the first time I met her, we had a flat in Newcastle.

They came to stay.

How could there be any issue?

Because anyway, you're half Iranian.

Yeah, but she's...

I would completely understand it.

They came to stay with us, and in the morning, we had a few drinks on the night, and the

next morning, I said, okay, I'm making bacon sandwiches, because anybody wants.

But I never thought that she's anything, like, going to take that seriously.

She didn't drink alcohol, but I didn't notice, really.

I just thought she doesn't want.

Yeah.

And in the morning, do you want bacon sandwiches?

And then they just stopped talking to me.

I didn't even think why.

I don't know.

Maybe she doubted, like, she...

He says, you should have been more sensitive, like, I don't know.

You should tell me.

You should tell me then that she's going to be offended.

Well, she wasn't offended.

She just has a bit of complex that she's different, and she was worried about her father.

Now she drinks, and I don't know if she eats pork, but she drinks now, like everybody,

but she's changed, and after they've gone married, it's okay.

They had marriage in register office as well.

In here?

In London, proper wedding and everything, and it was nice.

But even that was a bit...

At one time, because her father is that strict, I mean, and not particularly different

to any Arab, just that they are like that, and he says to me, I'm worried, and I said,

why?

Because our grandparents, English woman, our auntie and uncle, they like to drink,

and it's a wedding, you expect to have a lot to drink, and my aunties sometimes have

too much.

Yeah.

Like, it's a normal thing in a wedding.

There's one auntie.

Your uncle has too much to drink.

Typical English style wedding.

Yeah.

And he said, I'm worried that she's going to have too much to drink, and I'm going to

be embarrassed because that side of it.

Plus, there was a lot of the Brazilian relatives came from Brazil.

Exactly, because they were drinking.

And my brother said he's worried, and I said to my mother, I'm confused about that.

Like, if it's that big a deal, why don't they just don't put any alcohol?

And they're having it in a bar, a restaurant bar, a posh thing in the city of London.

What's it called?

Victorian baths, isn't it?

Yeah.

It's a bar.

Like a...
