Ali was very ungrateful and that flat that my dad sold, the one that was interest only,

he bought that for Ali to live in, you know, but they didn't like Sheffield and they got...

And they never appreciated it?

No, never, and it was again because of the wife really, they just followed what the wife...

because she had, as a day's wife, she had relatives and eventually a brother in London,

but they're all dodgy criminals I think.

Because when they moved here, soon after her brother was here and they used to go and visit

and they didn't visit him for two years and they were keeping it quiet while he was in jail

for counterfeit money that he was involved in.

It wasn't his fault, it was some black guy tricked them in a nightclub,

I've got a machine that prints money and you can buy it, something happened,

but they ended up in jail.

So...

But their life in London is...

They're doing their business.

Or printing money.

Printing money.

No, no.

No.

He came about six months ago to our house.

He's one of the craziest people you could...

Definitely ADHD.

Yeah, yeah.

Definitely.

You met him?

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, but...

He came, he said, I'm a film director now.

I said, what films do you direct?

No, no, I mean I'm studying to be a film director.

What he really means is he's driving a taxi.

No, no, no.

He's driving a taxi and he's a film director.

But I haven't directed any films yet.

I'm studying.

Like, what are you, in like college or something about that?

No, no, YouTube.

But he comes out with this...

But he drives a taxi and they live in a flat in Ealing,

a nice flat in Ealing, but it's on housing benefit.

The dream from the beginning was get a home on the housing benefit

because I suppose that's what her family was doing down there in London.

And you could do that in Sheffield and you get a council flat

or you get a council flat in Ealing, a private one,

and get the council to pay the rent.

But that's probably not as easy now.

I don't know how they find it.

This one was very nice but very spoiled.

Arash, when he was about three or four and he would go to the...

I used to spend time with them quite a bit and go to them

and they lived in the flat, knock on the door

and if you didn't bring any sweets for the kid,

then Ali would open the door and pass some Haribo from the top

so that he doesn't kick you.

And he would kick.

And then Ali was such a child.

Such a child.

And I've seen this good wrestling video I want to show you.

He's got DVD for wrestling video.

And he invited me to watch.

He wants to show me.

Something like teenagers.

And he's trying to put the wrestling DVD in the DVD player

and the boy, like four years old,

I want to watch Spider-Man.

No, I'm using it now.

You watch after.

I want to watch Spider-Man.

And then he's kneeling down at the DVD player

and the boy kicks him in the face

and his nose starts bleeding.

And he says, OK, OK, OK, OK.

And then we all watch Spider-Man.

And it's spoiled.

And I thought that he's going to grow up in a bad way

because he's getting old.

But actually, you know, he came to our house.

The boy was nothing like that.

He was obviously grew tall.

But his character was perfect.

I mean, he was a really good boy.

So is this the same boy?

I can't believe that.

They were just kids.

And they had the baby very young.

But I think because they were trying to get the status.

They were refugee status.

And they had the baby to help the case, I think.

They had no idea what to do.

They didn't put him, you know, you have to do for school.

You have to register.

They send you the form and you choose your school

and you put your preferences.

And people think about that so much.

But they did nothing.

They didn't understand it, so they left it.

And then when he should start school,

the flat wasn't full with where they lived.

Because they didn't like living in that one.

So they got a place in Fullwood on Council.

Cash, whatever.

Housing benefit, a nice flat.

And they put him in a school in Hillsborough.

And it was not a very good school.

And he used to drive.

And why go to that trouble to get that flat?

It was the big job to have a nice status and everything.

On housing benefit.

And then not put the kid in the local school.

What's the point?

That's just the city, you see.

Anyway.
