He had a very amazing house next to the water, it was beautiful, massive, you could get lost in it, it was really nice, but it was so tight as well.

Still they had that rock business, Persian rock business.

Yeah, he was exporting to America, it was a very, very, very, very good business.

It was, and Samad, maybe, and he starts cooking, and then they put plates out.

It's your dad's uncle, your grandma's brother, right?

Yeah, he passed away a while back.

A few years ago, yeah?

Not long after I was in Islam.

And what's their family doing? Carry on being rich?

Well, he has two kids, but it's complicated because he divorced from the wife.

About 20 years ago, and they didn't have a good relation with the father, I think.

I mean, I haven't seen the girl, she's about two years older than me, for 20 years.

But she was the first long-haul pilot for Lufthansa, who was a woman.

And she was flying Hamburg to JFK New York daily.

His daughter.

In 747.

And she was on wheels and all that.

Well, female.

Wow.

First female, long-haul pilot.

She was commanding the jumbo jet.

And that was nice.

And there's only the doctor.

But I'm almost certain.

My brother and I spent time with him.

He took us around, and we saw him again a few years later.

He was a bit weird, and definitely was gay.

Definitely.

I could say, but it wasn't.

In the Iranian family, you don't want to face it.

I didn't.

I don't know.

But definitely it was.

Yeah.

You know, and he was like my brother.

He never had a girlfriend or whatever.

But, yeah.

We see on Facebook, and he hangs out with people, and we're like, well, you know,

you can tell.

For sure he is gay.

But he wasn't talked about.

And he kept.

But he was nice.

Nice guy.

Interesting.

Very, very smart.

Perfect immigration.

Doctor.

They all seem to have become doctors.

Yeah.

And, yeah.

I don't know.

I don't have much contact.

But that night, he was so hungry, he starts cooking, put plates on the table, and he's

trying something, and they bring it, and he put, he just prunes.

But I knew that I had a problem with seafood, I guess.

Yeah.

And he put on every, each plate, one small.

Pong.

Prune.

I was so hungry, so I ate it.

And then about half past ten, we had a lovely meal.

Everything grossed.

We had lots of chicken and rice.

Yeah.

And then that night, we'd gone to the hotel, and I thought, okay.

We had a few drinks as well, not too much, but some of them.

Went to bed, and then about three o'clock in the morning, I woke up, I could see, like,

hallucinations, something like, I mean, I don't know where I am.

And I'm sweating, and sweating so much.

And all of my body is burning.

I had one small groan.

And I was vomiting nonstop for, it felt like ages.

Uh-huh.

And drinking water, and vomiting, vomiting, vomiting.

And sweating.

And for about a week after that, I just taste like I'm eating seafood.

I didn't know prawn could have this strong allergy.

But some seafood they do, yeah.

One small groan, and I just had this terrible.

I had an upset stomach from eating things like that when I was younger, so I keep away

from seafood except fish.

Yeah.

But then this one time, I was just so hungry.

But this is allergy.

This is more than that.

Yeah.

But it wasn't like I got instant swelling or anything.

It was just a rash or something.

Which is what I thought an allergy would be like.

Yeah.

I ate it, fine.

And then I ate a lot.

You kind of digest it, and it goes to your body then.

And it couldn't have been something else.

But I was the only one who was sick.

Maybe.

And I could taste like, it felt like I'm sweating seafood oil, like, you know.

Ah, yeah.

That was my body telling me, don't eat that.

Yeah.

I think, you know.

Yeah, sometimes you're eating, yeah.

My mouth was tasting like that.

I did prawn tasting that night.

It didn't even have a strong taste.

No.

It was just like chicken or something, you know.

Yeah.

It's not like, but I could, I felt something.

Yeah.

It was just like, you know.

It's spoiled.

Yeah.

Prawns, it doesn't, like, smell like strong seafood.

Yeah.

It's not.

Yeah.

Yeah.

It's what I mean.

It's just a bit salty.

Like chicken, yeah.

But that was all he gave us.

That one prawn.

And then my grandmother was cooking for hours.

And then we had a big meal.

But same problem.

So your grandma used to come, go there more regularly?

She lived there for quite a while.

And then.

Really?

That was maybe 19 years ago.

But she stayed for a few months.

Ah, after your grandmother died.

Because she got German residency visa.

Yeah.

Yeah.

Yeah.

After he died.

A while after he died.

Ah.

She, she was a sister.

The came and stayed for German.
