Here's the interesting bit.

If your phone is the 256 gigabyte model

and Costco is genuinely selling the Air for 790 pounds,

then after eBay fees and postage,

your actual cost to switch could be surprisingly steep.

Potentially on the order of 100 to 200 pounds,

depending on what you achieve for the 16.

Well, if I get 600 pounds for this phone

and I buy one for 780, I'd be quite happy.

My big worry is only about depreciation,

but at the end of the day,

the depreciation isn't all that great when you think.

I mean, the risk isn't all that great

when you consider that the 16 is certain

to depreciate quite significantly after next month.
