Hello.

Hello.

Hello.

Are you okay?

I'm okay.

How are you?

I'm okay.

Yeah, it was two Nigerian guys.

And they came and they were trying really hard to negotiate and they wanted to pay 700

and 600.

And I said, no, there's absolutely no way.

So, okay, nevermind.

So they went and then five minutes later they rang me back like, what about 1,000?

I said, no, no, I want 1,300.

Blah, blah, blah.

I went backwards and forwards and we settled on 1,100 if I agreed to drop it off in Chesterfield

for them because you can't drive manual and you're learning manual and they've just had

a baby and it's his wife's going to drive the other one and blah, blah, blah.

I said, okay, fine.

So I drove to Chesterfield, they paid me the money and then drove me back and it was

all fine.

But I got very worried because when I was nearly there, the engine warning light came

on.

I have no idea why.

And it's happened before and you could disconnect the battery.

Take a half an hour.

could reset it so uh i was like oh shit so i went i was driving down the road could see them in front

of me but they went further ahead and i saw there was a garage on the left i just pulled in and i

said to this old guy who worked and said can you do me a favor i'll pay you 20 pound but can you

just reset my warning light i didn't want anything he said yeah yeah because if you reset it it would

be off pages until you know if they really drive it hard it went and so the guy said yeah yeah but

then he couldn't find his computer and then they phoned me like did you get lost what happened i

said no no i'm coming i just test i was thinking to get a sandwich i'll just come here so i went

there and then the first thing he said i'm gonna because when he looked at it i had that fancy

screen in it and if you don't drive it for a while the battery goes flat it wasn't a good

start because when i got here the battery was flat which is why i wanted to be

earlier than them so i could jump start and show you all nicely running

And they got here, the battery was flat, so I had to jump start it when they got here.

But I explained, it's just because of that screen.

Oh, yeah, I understand, no problem.

And then he was worried because he's not going to drive it for a week or so

because it's nearly the end of the month.

He wouldn't tax it for the last two days and pay it for a month.

He said, oh, I'm going to disconnect the battery.

I said, okay, I'll help you.

So we disconnected the battery and left it there.

So they didn't see it running.

And the engine light's gone.

So when they put it on again, it'll be reset, so it's fine.

I was very lucky because I was like, oh, who agreed on that?

And they tried saying, oh, it's making a noise, it's doing this, it's doing that.

But it wasn't.

But the fact that the engine light came on showed me as well,

like the mechanic was right.

Like, yeah, it's a blue car, but you're going to have to start spending money

on bits and pieces from the engine bay and all that.

It's at this age.

And I said, yeah, okay, fair enough.

That's why I sell it.

So it worked out fine.

I hope they're not going to come back.

I can complain.

No.

And he said, I know we got a very cheap deal.

I said, yeah, I think you did, to be honest.

And I was making them laugh.

He said, first, the other guy, his brother's trying to tell me,

well, I went to see one that was in Chesterfield,

and it was only 700.

I said, is it the same one?

It's one year older.

He said, okay, so I'm going to buy that one

if you don't want to move on the price.

But in the end, they decided to get it.

If I draw it, it's down there.

So it all worked out perfectly.

Right, you've got the money.

Yeah.

I'm sorted for this.

More dodgy cash.

No, no, he's paid it in my account.

He paid me 200 grand cash before we went, like, deposit.

And the rest he transferred it.

So it's all good.

Sounds good.

Well done.

Yeah, and they were very nice.

His wife was there.

There was two brothers, one who lived in Chesterfield

and one who lived in Chesterfield.

And the one who bought the car.

Thank you.

Chesterfield, his wife came out with a tiny one-and-a-half-year-old baby,

very cute, and then the other one having a baby in January.

Congratulations.

We talked about school and stuff like that.

They were really nice.

Very good.

Sounds good.

And he said as well, he said,

I said, it's Toyota, you can't compare the engine,

don't worry about this and that.

He said, I know, because in Toyota I've got two of these.

I mean, in Nigeria.

And I said, oh, well, and there you go.

And I said, you know, this car in Nigeria would be $5,000, wouldn't it?

Like, I guess the cars there are very expensive,

like they are in Eastern Europe and Middle East.

How do you know that?

I said, yeah, you're right.

He said, well, if you're anything, you can send a car to Nigeria,

and when you've had enough, you'll get big money for it.

He said, yeah, exactly, that's what we were thinking.

So I think it's okay.

That sort of changed the mind a bit.

Anyway, so just that Audi,

not really getting much interest,

just people making,

paying off as low as it's cramped out here.

but it's just more like this.

I might just let it go for scrap

because I don't want it to pay road tax

for the next month again.

And how much were you asking for that?

For the Audi?

Well, I had it on at 1,500.

I've dropped it to 500 now.

It's called Gearbox.

If I had time and money and patience,

I would get it taken to the Gearbox specialist

and spend 100 pounds to find out exactly.

If it's not even the fix, it will find out

because everybody has looked at it,

but it needs to go to a Gearbox specialist

who works only on Gearboxes.

They've all said, you know,

the Gearbox probably doesn't need replacing.

It's something snapped or a small thing.

It's not a big catastrophic disaster.

It's just one probably small part,

probably a few hundred pounds.

It'll be good as new.

It'll have lots of life in it.

But do I want to spend 50 pounds to get it delivered

and then 100 pounds for diagnosis

and then two, three, four?

hundred for repair and then to have a car that if it's in very good shape anyway it's less than 1500

probably you know yeah oh it's a question between 300 and a thousand to make the right

and then anyway i'll be lucky if i get 1500 so what's the point if i can get rid of it 500 or

less and then it's it's no loss because it's broken anyway right i'd rather have the money

and the headache gone and just be clear of all this shit well i agree that's the best thing

have you got your medication no i'm gonna go to the pharmacy i'm gonna eat and then go to

the pharmacy okay yeah i didn't have a chance yet i did
