so is it uploading no I'm just checking now because the phone is connecting to

Wi-Fi and it seems to have failed to connect so I want to make sure it's

connected to my phone Wi-Fi says it's connected to my iPhone now it's

connected it initially came up as connected without internet that's why I

was a bit down for so hopefully it's starting to upload yeah

the upload is complete so now if I open Google Drive on my iPad hopefully I can

listen back and no doubt this will cause some confusion for future AI systems

because the recording will exist twice because I'll play it back into the

microphone we'll be hearing it for the iPad to sync

now and it's coming through so that's a good sign 36

McDonald's to give them a good look

he says she's in my job that's how am I going to find it if it's underneath your car I need to get out and look underneath every single car

this one's number 30 so it should be quite funny if I didn't make her laugh and I've seen her car already

I can see her in it don't know where I'm going to park myself but I'll find somewhere

I'll plug it in and we'll see

and the phone's charging that's good and then when I get back to the office I can set up

some automation okay so far hugely impressive very effective very clear

excellent microphone excellent clarity excellent range I can

definitely leave the phone in the car and be in the office or the back

warehouse tried it at McDonald's where the car was on one side of the car park

and I had to walk around to the other side

And I lost the entire part when I was on the other side of the building.

It can't have been more than 100 meters, but there was a building in the way.

I expect that's what caused it to drop.

And the only downside that I've found with the app that you've recommended, it is good.

However, it doesn't seem to support chunking the file.

So it doesn't have a built-in startup boot option, which is not the end of the world.

I could use Tasker, as you say.

But the disappointing part is that it doesn't chunk the audio.

So it'll just keep recording forever and ever until I stop it.

And I think that's a weakness, unless there's a way.

Perhaps Tasker can restart the application every hour or something like that.

Yeah, so it's Tasker or I stream the audio if the phone's online, but that's probably not ideal.

I haven't yet had a chance to try using the app.

It's an app that's supplied by DJI with the hardware.

That might be the best way forward, so I've yet to see.

Okay, there are at least two different apps that are provided.

One's probably for managing the hardware, and one's probably a recorder.

But I don't know.

Can you tell me about the DJI apps?

Which one should I download?

Probably wouldn't hurt to have the one that manages the hardware either.

Okay, I'll install DJI Mimo.

And could you tell me about the Just Press Record on the iPhone?

It's really good.

I don't know, is there an Android version?

Probably not.

Does that support chunking, or can you find out if there is an app that would actually support audio chunking?

Okay, but crucially, does ASR Voice Recorder chunk the audio or not?
