Somebody was around at our house on Saturday, he's the sixth most important guy in HSBC

in the world.

Really?

Yeah.

And we were talking about AI and stuff and he says that people moan about the branches

closing but they're already planning that with AI agents that you'll talk to your personal

assistant to do your banking and they're going to shut down the website and they're preparing

all the, you know where you can log in on the website or the app, they're going to switch

that off within about five years and it's going to be conversational AI doing everything

for you.

And there are people already, I mean there are public relations departments already working

on it that people are going to be moaning that not only are they going to close the

branches, they're even going to close the websites and the apps because it's going to

be out of date.

That's terrible.

People don't want to go to the branch anymore, they prefer doing it on the phone, on the

computer and now it's going to be people don't want to use the computer or the phone anymore,

they prefer to do it conversationally with the voices.
