es — probably, for reading only, Suzana can get away with ordinary off-the-shelf reading glasses. Her prescription on the sheet is: Eye Sphere Cylinder Axis Near ADD Right +0.75 -0.25 80° +1.25 Left +0.50 -0.25 10° +1.25 The optometrist has recommended a new prescription. Prescription The key points are that the astigmatism is tiny (-0.25) and the difference between the two eyes is also small. Those are both circumstances where generic readers can work quite well. For reading, roughly adding the +1.25 near addition gives: - Right: about +2.00 - Left: about +1.75 So I'd try +1.75 off-the-shelf readers first. If she mainly reads quite close — phone, book, labels, etc. — +2.00 may feel better. Because generic readers have the same power in both eyes, either is a small compromise. One important distinction: +1.25 readers aren't actually equivalent to her prescription. The +1.25 on the form is an addition on top of her distance prescription. That's why her effective reading powers are nearer +1.75/+2.00. At her age (41), I'd be quite comfortable suggesting she try a £5–£15 pair of +1.75 readers before spending much on prescription reading glasses. If they're comfortable and the print is crisp at her normal reading distance, there's no particular virtue in paying for bespoke lenses just to correct that -0.25 cylinder. For distance/general wear, however, off-the-shelf readers aren't a substitute for her prescription.

Thai fresh is sorted, but one was a bit low. Not as dramatic as the car was reading, but it did need air. I think it might be the wheel, not the tyre. I’ll have a look on eBay if I could get a decent tyre or get these fixed, I think it’s about £40 for repair per wheel
