John Taylor discussed his plan to move to Yarm with a rental budget of about £1,400 per month, preferring Egglescliffe School for his daughter Melissa. He also considered a property in Saltburn but availability was uncertain. Later that night, as a bus driver, he reported that the electronic display board at Redcar showed incorrect route information for the last service (63), which actually terminates at West Dyke Road. Two passengers boarded and then got off due to the error; he had two more stops before finishing his shift.
