Title Edited Text

Woke up with my tongue still sore and a flu-like heaviness in my body. I'd promised Anna we'd do her birthday party today, so I dragged myself out of bed. The party ran from 1 to 3pm at home. Janice came over, and we had balloons and cake. I'd picked up helium balloons the day before, and Anna seemed happy. We ate the bread I'd bought, tidied up afterwards. I was glad it went okay despite feeling rough.

After the party, I spent the evening messaging Deimantė. We talked a lot about my tongue pain and flu symptoms – she was concerned. Then we got onto holiday plans. We're thinking Tenerife or Lanzarote, maybe self-catering or all-inclusive. She found an all-inclusive offer for £900 for two, which sounded good. I mentioned I could cover it with the 'fence money' from the house. Also told her about the uninsured Audi issue and the fire in Middlesbrough – she was confused about council tax letters asking for £284.

John Taylor messaged me about a fire on Linthorpe Road – a shawarma shop and phone shop involved. His bus was stuck near a cordon. Later he asked about an event on June 21; I said I thought it was happening but wasn't sure of the time.

Pedro Ferreira checked in, asked if I was feeling better. His kids fell asleep easily. We tentatively agreed to try riding next weekend.

Also exchanged a few messages with Suzana Janachkova, probably about the party, but nothing specific stands out.

Now I'm tired, tongue still hurts, but the day had its moments.
