Summary
In a phone call, the caller tells Mac that things must be worse than they look for him to be calling. He recalls that they have mutual respect and that Mac is cut from the same cloth as his father, who 20 years ago urged Tom to ask Governor Dunham for a National Guard deployment to quell riots. That was Tom's first mistake. The caller wants to prevent the same mistake and says only Mac's office has the power to reach both city and state; he'd like to hear it from him.
