But honestly if i was starting afresh, i would always get the mac mini. Even though the processors and the specs are similar to laptops, you know well a desktop performs far better due to thermals. My m4 mini is sooooo fast

From Jill, will you do it? :)

However, I know you wont be sold on the mac mini

Hope your summer is going well. Are you around tomorrow? We are going to center parcs Mon-Friday and I was wondering if you could put our brown bin in our garden tomorrow after it has been taken? Don’t worry if you’re away, Jill

And face ID... that was my main interest in it

The pro is quite a bit more advanced, screen and camera in particular, and thunderbolt connection

Ye I can imagine

But I know the ipads really hold their value. And you cannot even compare these remotely with other tablets. Its much more of a computer

I know they were cheapest at Costco :)

Not sure what the air comes with

Well that wont be long

Dont know. We have one standard ipad and i have ipad pro

Maybe when they come out with the M5 processor

Só would you say iPad air is good?

But need to take it slow now

Sounds good

Apple Pencil, but, you can get any compatible one (£2-3 just as good)

Yes

As tablets go, its hard to explain, this ipad is more powerful than almost all computers

Does it have a pen?

Hm I see

Plus with touchscreen.... i got used to it, prefer that to using the computer after all

Its not the desktop version, but it performs the work locally. And it has pretty much all the functionality

Yes, you can have a play if you want with mine

Does it work well with lightroom?

And is lighter, and every bit as fast actually

Because iPad pro has the retina screen

Even if it's 5% of the time

You can remote in

Then youre better with an ipad

I like to have that option

I know but when I travel I like to have it with me

But end of the day 99% of the time you are at the desk

But it's top of the range

I know what you always say about portability

My gaming laptop was 3.4k

It is

Cos youre paying for the retina screen etc

It's expensive for what it is

Value for money i would just get a mac mini? They've not got m5 yet

BUT

M4

I have a macbook air too

Its good of couse it is good

Jesus 1999£

With the M5

Or not worth it

Is the MacBook air any good?

What you doing
